At Magna Chrome we believe in giving our customers the highest quality prints that are going to stand the test of time. This is why Magna Chrome only prints on metal panels manufactured by ChromaLuxe. Taking their superior metal panel and combining it with our masterful printing practices make for the highest quality, most vibrant, and magically luminescent photo prints.

With high heat and pressure, special inks are infused into coated aluminum plates. Because the image is infused into and not onto the special coating, the prints have an archival value and durability that is unparalleled. ChromaLuxe, the manufacturer of our metal panels, has invested heavily into making a coating that has incredible longevity ratings. According to Wilhelm Imaging Research, "ChromaLuxe metal prints have an Indoor Display Permanence Ratings on the order of 65 years, plus they are extremely scratch resistant."

Outdoor Murals:

Using ChromaLuxe Outdoor Metal, Magna Chrome now offers outdoor prints with a 5-10 year longevity rating. The largest single panel available is 48"x96", but these can be combined to create murals of any size. The mural pictured below was created by Magna Chrome for the Rossi Public Pool in San Francisco. It was created with twelve panels each 4 feet wide by 8 feet tall. The tops were routed with our CNC router. The graphics were created by world renowned illustrator Owen Smith.

Metal prints are not only scratch resistant with very high longevity ratings, but they are also waterproof. This makes them ideal for hanging in bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas where paper prints would be susceptible to moisture and water damage. Metal prints can be cleaned with any nonabrasive household cleaner or disinfectant, making them the perfect print media for any public display.
